Brick Orthodox School Hearing Postponed
The zoning board meeting set for Wednesday night on the Congregation Kehilos Yisroel application is canceled, the board secretary said.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Board of Adjustment hearing on the application by Congregation Kehilos Yisroel to operate a high school for Orthodox Jewish boys at the former Temple Beth Or property that was set for Wednesday night has been postponed.
The township distributed a notice Wednesday morning announcing the cancellation of the meeting that was set for the Civic Center, a notice from the zoning board secretary said.
The zoning board hearing was ordered by Ocean County Superior Court Judge Craig Wellerson as part of the legal wrangling over the lawsuit Brick Township filed on Aug. 20, seeking an injunction to force the congregation to seek township approvals to operate the school.
