Brick Police Arrest Man In Weekend Stabbing
Multiple tips led to the arrest of Jason Pascale, who had multiple warrants out for his arrest; more charges are pending.

A Lakewood man has been charged in the robbery and stabbing that occurred at a Stephan Road home last weekend, Brick Township police said Thursday.
Jason M. Pascale, 34, of Lakewood, was arrested after several tips identified him as the man wanted in the Feb. 28 incident, Sgt. Henry Drew said.
“With the help of the public, and the assistance of the Lakewood and Point Pleasant Beach Police Departments, Pascale was identified and arrested in just four days. The many tips that were received again demonstrate the importance of the police- citizen relationship, and the Brick Township Police Department would like to thank everyone that called in to assist,” Drew said.

Pascale was charged with robbery, burglary and theft of movable property, Drew said. Additional charges are expected to be lodged after review of the case by the Ocean County Prosecutors Office.
The initial police report said the incident happened about 4 p.m. Saturday, when a man broke into the home on Stephan Road and was confronted by the homeowner.

The homeowner told police he was stabbed in the leg with an unknown object when he confronted the suspect, who is described as a white male in his late 20s, about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-9 with a thin build. The man then fled in a dark colored, medium-sized sport utility vehicle.
Pascale is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $50,000 bail, no 10 percent, as set by Deputy Court Administrator Donna Morra. Pascale had an active warrant for a probation violation issued by the Monmouth County Superior Court, and failure to appear warrants issued by the Brick Township Municipal Court, and the Ocean Township Municipal Court (Monmouth County).
