Brick Ready To Light Menorah, Christmas Tree

’Tis the season ... to light the Menorah and welcome Santa, and Brick Township will do just that this week.

The Menorah lighting is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 7 at 4:15 p.m., celebrating Hanukkah, the annual Jewish Festival of Lights, which began at sundown on Sunday and ends the evening of Monday, Dec. 14.

Tuesday evening, Dec. 8, the township will light up the Christmas tree and welcome Santa Claus to Brick for a brief pre-Christmas visit. There will be music as well as a chance for the little ones to talk with the jolly old elf for a bit.

The Christmas tree lighting begins at 5:30 p.m.

Both events will be held at the township’s municipal building on Chambersbridge Road.
