Brick Rotary Hosting 33rd Bulletproof Vest Fundraiser For Police

The dinner is Friday, July 21 and tickets are still available.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Rotary Club is hosting its annual Vest Fund Dance on Friday, July 21, at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8867 on Adamston Road.

The dinner-dance, which is marking its 33rd year, begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are $30.

The Rotary Club has purchased body armor for Brick Township police officers through the fundraiser for more than three decades and recently presented the police department with new helmets for the motorcycle unit and three new ballistic shields for the department's Special Emergency Response Team.

The dinner-dance includes a hot and cold buffet, entertainment by The Infernos and a cash bar.
