Brick School Board Livestreaming Meetings On YouTube
Public meetings of the board, including Thursday's meeting, have been moved to the district's administration building.

BRICK, NJ — The Brick Township Board of Education will be holding its monthly meeting Thursday night and will make an initial school budget presentation, according to the board agenda.
If you can't get to the meeting in person, however, the board meeting will be livestreamed on YouTube. The district has been working on livestreaming the meetings for a few weeks and has been running tests on the stream this week.
For those unable to watch the meetings on the local cable channel because they have satellite TV instead of Comcast, the livestream allows instant access to the meeting in real time. The board has been posting videos of board meetings on its YouTube channel for more than a year.

Thursday's meeting, the public portion of which begins about 7 p.m., will be held in the Professional Development Center at the district's administration building, 101 Hendrickson Boulevard. The building is the first one you encounter at the Veterans Memorial school complex.
The board agenda includes a number of topics in addition to the budget presentation and will likely include an update on the search for a new superintendent. The board has two more special meetings scheduled this month to interview candidates.
