Brick To Light Up Christmas Tree Monday Night

Township officials hope residents will join them to kick off the Christmas season.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township officials are decking the halls and getting ready for the annual Christmas tree lighting festivities, and they're hoping Brick residents will join them.

The township's Christmas tree will be lit on Monday, Dec. 5, with festivities that begin at 5:30 p.m. and run through 7 p.m., officials said.

The festivities will be held at the municipal building and will be moved inside in case of inclement weather. Accuweather is forecasting clear skies for Monday evening so rain should not be an issue. Temperatures are predicted to drop into the mid-40s by the time of the tree lighting, according to Accuweather.
