Brick SummerFest 2022: Concerts, Cars, Fireworks And Fun
The Brick Township SummerFest series includes National Night Out, the Car Show and a drive-in movie for the family.

BRICK, NJ — Summer is here, and so is SummerFest, Brick Township’s annual concert series at Windward Beach Park and family events series.
SummerFest, which is marking its 27th year, kicks off the concert series June 30 and will continue on Thursdays through July 21. There is a food court, a beer and wine garden for those 21 or older and each concert ends with fireworks.
In August, there is the annual National Night Out and the SummerFest Car Show, one of the largest in the state.

The concerts begin about 7 p.m., and there are shuttle buses to bring residents to Windward Beach because parking is limited at the park.
"SummerFest is truly one of the best summer traditions at the Jersey Shore," Mayor John G. Ducey said. "It gives families the opportunity to have a fun and affordable night out, enjoy great music and fireworks and more."

On June 30, Super Trans-Am is scheduled to perform. The band, which made its SummerFest debut last year, plays the best arena anthems and chart-topping hits of the 1970s.
On July 7, Stifler’s Mom debuts. The group plays your favorite music from the 1990s including rock, East and West Coast hip-hop, pop with R&B, hit TV theme songs, Seattle Grunge and more.
On July 14, The Benjamins are scheduled to perform. The group has been entertaining crowds throughout the nation for more than two decades and their shows are a "unique combination of classic, modern, elegance and edge."
On July 21, it's a throwback to the '80s with Jessie’s Girl! Jessie’s Girl is a SummerFest favorite and performs the greatest hits from the '80s, complete with costumes, props and more. Throw on your Spandex, leg warmers and come enjoy the music of the MTV Decade!
The shuttle buses for the concert series will pick up and drop off at Drum Point Elementary School, Brick Township High School, Veterans Memorial Middle School and the Fellowship Chapel parking area on Duchess Lane. Shuttle buses begin trips to the park at 5 p.m. and return trips from Windward begin at 8 p.m. Anyone under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Coolers are permitted at SummerFest. Guests may not bring alcohol into the park. All bags and coolers are subject to search.
On Aug. 2, National Night Out will be held at Windward Beach Park, hosted by the township and the Brick Township Police Department. This year will honor the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Brick Township Police Department.
On Aug. 4, the Annual SummerFest Car Show returns. This car show has become one of the biggest at the Jersey Shore. Every year hundreds of cars, trucks and motorcycles from every era come to Windward Beach. This event is put is a collaboration between the township and the Time Capsule Cruisers. The cars begin filing into Windward Beach around 5 p.m. for the show. Anyone who wants to participate and show off your car, please call the Cruisers at 609-548-9991.
On Aug. 12, there will be a Drive-In Movie featuring Jungle Cruise. Park your vehicle on the lawn at Windward Beach, turn on your radio and watch this hit movie. There will also be a viewing area in front of the screen. The gates will open to allow parking at 7 p.m. and the movie will begin at dusk.
