In addition to Monday's Memorial Day parade, this program by a Brick Township veteran honors 16 residents who gave their lives for the US.

BRICK, NJ — A Brick Township man will give a special presentation on Saturday, May 26, honoring and recounting the 16 military members who have given their lives in service to the United States.

The research by William J. Duffy, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8867, has turned up 16 names of soldiers who died who hailed from Brick, going back to the Civil War.

The program, called "Brick's Fallen Heroes," is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday at the VFW, 373 Adamston Road in Brick.
