Car Hits Gas Pump At Brick Costco
The accident late Wednesday morning caused one pump to leak, store officials said.

BRICK, NJ — A car crashed into a gasoline pump at the Costco on Route 70 in Brick late Wednesday morning, causing a leak and forcing the store to shut down pumps temporarily, store officials have confirmed.
Details on the accident, which happened shortly before noon, were not immediately available.
Dan Carter, the assistant general manager at Costco, did not have details on the accident, but said the gas pumps are closed while the pump that was damaged is repaired.

"We have people out there fixing the pump," he said. Only one pump was damaged.
Witnesses told the Patch that a car appeared to have hit the pump sideways, and that the entire area was roped off with police caution tape.

Carter did not have an estimate of when the pumps would reopen.
