Catalytic Converter Thefts Continuing, Brick Police Warn
Catalytic converter thefts have been on the rise; Brick police are urging residents to be alert, especially in the evenings.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are warning residents about ongoing catalytic converter thefts in the township.
"The thieves appear to be casing the streets they plan on targeting," police said in a post on the department's Facebook page. "Older model Hondas also seem to be more likely to get targeted for their catalytic converters."
The thieves are using a sawzall to cut out the converters and the thefts are occurring overnight, police said.
