Emergency Utility Work Shuts Part Of Hooper Avenue In Brick
Brick Township police said drivers should avoid the area.
BRICK, NJ — Drivers should avoid Hooper Avenue between Brick Boulevard and Cedar Bridge Road/Mantoloking Road on Monday, Brick Township police said.
Ongoing road work involving the Duck Farm Bridge, which is resulting in lane closures and detours, is being further complicated by emergency utility work, police said.
The utility work is in the area of 2770 Hooper Ave., the Riverwalk shopping center. Police said the work is anticipated to take several hours and the southbound lanes on Hooper are closed.

Hooper Avenue south of the intersection with Cedar Bridge Road/Mantoloking Road is open.
The Duck Farm Bridge work is expected to take several months to complete, Ocean County officials have said.
