Find Your Career At Ocean County Vocational Schools

BRICK, NJ -- Trying to figure out what you want to do in life can be a challenge for many people.

The Ocean County Vocational Technical Schools want to show the possibilities that exist through two events:

OCVTS Career Discovery Day, set for Saturday, Jan. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the OCVTS center in Brick Township, next to Brick Township High School on Chambersbridge Road;

OCVTS District Open House, Thursday, Feb. 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at all OCVTS locations.

The vocational school district has more than 30 career and technical training programs, with both part-time and full-time as well as day and evening programs.

The open houses will include the ability to tour the facilities, and student demonstrations will be held during both events.

For students who want to attend college, the programs offer opportunities to earn college credits that transfer to OCVTS partnered colleges.

There also are accelerated training programs that provide skills and real-world experience to launch a new career.
