Help Brick American Legion Stuff Stockings For Soldiers

For the men and women serving overseas in the military who will not be able to be home for the holidays, the Brick American Legion Auxiliary is sponsoring “Stockings for Soldiers.”

The Legion needs help, however. The goal is to fill 300 Christmas stockings to send to troops overseas. They are collecting hand and sock warmers, socks, powdered drink packets, gum, granola bars, toiletries, playing cards, and dog/canine items for our K9 Heroes. No aerosol cans or bars of soap please.

Items may be dropped off in the red bin inside the American Legion Post 348 canteen at 822 Mantoloking Road.

Those would like can include personal holiday messages of support with a return address or e-mail.

Financial donations are also sought to help with the cost of shipping these items.
