Man Ordered Held Until Trial In Brick Stabbing
A Manchester Township man will remain in the Ocean County Jail pending trial in the parking lot stabbing of a woman, officials said.

BRICK, NJ — A Manchester Township man charged with attempted murder in the stabbing of a woman in Brick Township has been ordered held until trial, the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office announced Wednesday.
Harry J. Bray Jr., 35, on Wednesday was ordered to remain in the Ocean County Jail by Superior Court Judge Wendel E. Daniels pending trial in the Jan. 5 stabbing in the parking lot at the Cherry Quay bicycle trail, Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer said.
Bray, who was arrested hours after the stabbing, was identified by the victim when she was found by a Brick Township police officer during his routine patrol, according to the probable affidavit filed in the case.

She had recently broken off a relationship with Bray, according to the affidavit.
In addition to attempted murder, Bray also is charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and unlawful possession of a weapon.

The detention hearing was handled by Assistant Prosecutor Emma Hurst, Billhimer said.
