Mantoloking Road Closed Eastbound Monday Night: Police
Police are reminding motorists to avoid the area if at all possible.
BRICK, NJ — Authorities are reminding motorists that Mantoloking Road will be closed Monday as of 8 p.m. for paving.
The eastbound lane will be closed, and detours will be in place through the night while the road, which was milled last week, is paved as part of an Ocean County Roads Department project.
Police are urging people to find alternate routes. The road is expected to reopen as of 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Officials from Brick and the county made changes to the projectafter the initial work caused massive delays for commuters coming from Mantoloking and Drum Point roads.
The project is anticipated to be finished this week.
