Midstreams Bridge Closing Fully On Friday: Brick Police
The closure is expected to be lifted by midday, Brick Township police sad.

BRICK, NJ — Motorists who use the Midstreams Bridge to go north will have to take a detour on Friday, Brick Township police said Thursday.
The bridge is being shut down to traffic in both directions Friday, April 6, from 6 a.m. to about noon for the ongoing construction work, police said. The bridge has been open to northbound traffic only for the last month after a lengthy closure from November to early March to address serious structural issues.
The bridge is in the midst of a $4.6 million construction project to replace the old concrete-and-timber bridge with one of concrete and steel. It is anticipated to be finished by late February or early March 2019, officials have said.
