No Farmers Market: Brick's Fourth of July Closings

It’s almost here.

The Fourth of July is a federal holiday, which means federal, state and local government offices will be closed. But because the Fourth falls on a Saturday, the federal holiday is granted Friday.

In addition to government offices -- and the Post Office, and most banks -- being closed, the township’s Farmers Market will not be held this Saturday. The market will resume next Saturday, July 11, at Windward Beach Park. It runs from 9 a.m. to noon.

Garbage and recycling pickups will remain the same, however the township’s recycling center on Ridge Road will be closed.
