Classes run two, three, or five days a week in a structured setting that blends early academics, social skills, and family events, including a preschool prom and graduation, all organized by Brick Recreation.

Man Indicted In Woman's Cocaine Overdose Death In Brick (patch.com) — Brick residents are learning more about a January cocaine overdose death in town after a 31-year-old Brick man was indicted on charges including strict liability drug-induced death. Prosecutors say investigators tied him to the cocaine involved, and he remains jailed while also facing separate weapons charges linked to a 2025 fatal stabbing that claimed the life of a Brick man.
   

3. Cell Phone Ban In Brick Schools: What To Know (patch.com) — Brick Township students will again be barred from using smartphones and other internet-enabled devices during the entire school day, including on buses, when classes resume Sept. 3. Officials say securing these Brick properties can boost the town's flood insurance rating while preventing future development on sensitive marsh areas if zoning rules ever change.

Brick Township Council Votes to Reduce School Zone Speed, Residents Raise Bigger Concern Open Governance (opgov.news) — Brick officials have lowered the speed limit on Lanes Mill Road near Brick Memorial High School and two elementary schools, but residents say enforcement and safety measures still lag behind. Neighbors pressed council members about limited police staffing, broken school-zone lights, missing crossing guards, and unsafe driving after a teen cyclist was killed in a May hit-and-run.
