Today, Pause To Remember The Fallen At Brick's Memorial Day Parade

Road closures will be in place along the parade route on Monday morning, authorities say.

While this weekend will be filled with barbecues, pool parties and fun in the sun as the Jersey Shore officially kicks off its summer season, on Monday, people will come together in Brick to honor the memory of those who gave their lives for our country.

The Brick Township Memorial Day Parade is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m., leaving from the Foodtown parking lot and traveling along Route 70 to Chambersbridge Road, then along Chambersbridge to the municipal building.

Chambersbridge Road will be closed beginning at 9:30 a.m. for the duration of the parade, according to the message board posted near the ramp from Exit 90 on the Garden State Parkway.
