Pedestrian Hit On Brick Boulevard Monday Night
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment.

BRICK, NJ — A pedestrian was taken to the hospital after he was hit by a car on Brick Boulevard near the Crown Bank Monday night.
Brick Township police closed the northbound lanes of Brick Boulevard at Beaverson Boulevard shortly before 9:30 p.m., warning motorists in a Nixle alert at 9:25 p.m. to avoid the area.
The accident happened just north of Gloria Ann Smith Drive, and at 9:35 p.m. police were continuing to investigate the incident. Two vehicles were stopped in the area, and a police officer seeking information security camera footage at a local business said the pedestrian was a man in his 30s. The man had been taken to the hospital but his condition was not available Monday night.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the man remained at the scene.
