Pedestrian Hospitalized Following Brick Boulevard Accident
The man's injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, police said.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are continuing to investigate an accident that sent a pedestrian to the hospital Monday night.
The man, who was hit as he crossed the northbound lanes of Brick Boulevard just north of Gloria Ann Smith Drive, was held at the hospital overnight for observation, Brick Sgt. James Kelly said Tuesday. His injuries appear to not be life-threatening, Kelly said.
The man, who has not been identified, was described as being in his mid-30s by an officer seeking security camera footage at a nearby business.

The driver of the vehicle that hit the man remained at the scene.
Kelly said no charges had been filed as of Tuesday morning, but the investigation is continuing.
