Photos Released In Armed Robbery At Brick Gas Station

Police described the suspect and are hoping someone recognizes the vehicle involved in the February robbery.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police have released photos and additional information in connection with an armed robbery at the BP gas station in February.

The robbery happened about 10:20 p.m. on Feb. 12 at the BP on Burnt Tavern Road, police said.

Brick police said they are looking for a dark-colored GMC Envoy, possibly a mid-2000s model, with tinted windows, a tow hitch and a chrome grill guard.

It did not have license plates on either the front or back at the time of the robbery, police said.

The robber is described as a Caucasian male, about 6-foot-1 and weighing about 240 to 250 pounds. He was wearing a yellow ski mask, a dark blue shirt and white sneakers.

Police at the time said the robber brandished a weapon and took off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
