Police Garage Contract On Council Agenda In Brick: Monday Manual
The Township Council has a full agenda on Tuesday, including awarding a contract for work on the special operations garage.

BRICK, NJ — Welcome to the May 23 edition of Monday Manual, where we highlight events coming up during the week in Brick.
Township meetings are few this week, with the council meeting Tuesday night and the Planning Board meeting Wednesday.
The council agenda includes bond ordinances for capital projects throughout the town, including construction of a $1.057 million garage for the police department to protect vehicles. A contract for the construction is to be awarded.

The council also is anticipated to be approving the award of a contract for dredging of the lagoon in Nejecho Beach.
The council meeting is set for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the municipal building.

Planning Board
The Planning Board is set to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday and has three items on its agenda. Of note is a proposal by the Brick Gardens Apartment Complex on Hooper Avenue to replace an existing pool building with a cabana and a community building.
Memorial Day parade, closures
The township is set to hold its annual Memorial Day parade on May 30, starting at 10 a.m. Chambers Bridge Road will be closed during the parade. The township's offices will be closed for the federal holiday.
