Police Investigating Threat At Brick School
Breaking: The threat was scribbled on a bathroom wall, police said.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are investigating a threat at Veterans Memorial Middle School Thursday morning, police said.
In a Nixle alert and a news alert to media, police said the threat, written on a bathroom wall, was found by school personnel.
"All students are safe and secure at this time," Sgt. Neal Pedersen said.

Police officers are at the school as a precaution in addition to those investigating, he said.
Police will remain at the school throughout the day, Pedersen said.

Two weeks ago, Toms River High School North was on alert after a threat was discovered on a bathroom wall at the school there. Authorities searched and determined the threat was a hoax, and arrested a 15-year-old student on a charge of causing a false public alarm.
