Power Outages Affecting Homes, Traffic Signals In Toms River

TOMS RIVER, NJ — Residents in the northern sections of Toms River are warned to expect sporadic power outages over the next few hours, Toms River police said.

There was an outage on Hooper Avenue between Church Road and Oak Avenue, and on Church Road as well, police said.

Motorists are warned to be aware and drive with caution because the outages are affecting traffic signals as well.

"Thank you for your patience while crews work to address the outages," police said.
