BRICK, NJ -- If you've been wanting to sink your teeth into a Roy Rogers hot roast beef sandwich, your wait is nearly over.

The fast food chain, which has been building a restaurant on Brick Boulevard, has announced its grand opening will be this Thursday, June 2.

The first 50 Roy Rogers fans in line on Thursday will receive a $250 Cowboy Cash gift card, the company announced. (There is a limit of one Cowboy Cash card per household; please bring state-issued driver’s license or ID; must be 18 years or older.)

The Brick location is owned and operated by Ed Abramson, a New Jersey-based franchisee who also owns and operates the Roy Rogers in Pine Beach. Brick is the third Roy Rogers to open in New Jersey within the past year.  The chain opened restaurants in Franklin last July and in Flemington in April.

“I am delighted to continue my involvement in the Roy Rogers franchise,” Abramson said.  “Ocean County has been waiting for another Roy Rogers since Pine Beach opened over 20 years ago and the new Brick location will be welcomed with open arms by the community.”

“The residents have been awaiting another location near the Jersey Shore,” said Jim Plamondon, co-president of Plamondon Companies, which owns and operates 24 Roy Rogers and oversees 28 franchise locations, including Brick, in the Mid-Atlantic region.  “We are excited to share what sets us apart from other quick-service concepts with fans old and new.”

An additional location in Edison is scheduled to open June 7.
