See It In Photos: Battle for Brick -- Dragons Vs. Mustangs

If you weren't able to be at the game, take a look at some of the scenes from the game

Brick vs. Brick Memorial. When Memorial first opened in January 1981, there were some who wondered whether there would ever be a true football rivalry between the schools.

More than 30 years later, that question has been answered by the resounding volume at Saturday’s season-opener between the teams, where the fans were so loud it drowned out the marching bands.

Btick Township won the game, 42-0, snapping a scoreless tie on a Carmen Sclafani-to-Simon Bingelis 11-yard touchdown pass with 1:18 before halftime, and just kept adding to it. Sclafani scored on a 21-yard run early in the second half, then hit Joe Phillips in stride for a 43-yard score near the end of the third quarter.

Ray Fattaruso scored an offensive touchdown as Brick increased its lead to 28-0, and then the Dragons’ defense took over, with Ja’quez Johnson picking a fumble and running it in for score, and Fattaruso repeating the feat three plays later.
