Smoothie King Proposal Set To Go Before Brick Planners

BRICK, NJ — Smoothies, anyone?

The Brick Township Planning Board is scheduled to meet Wednesday evening to consider an application to demolish a home on Chambers Bridge Road and replace it with a Smoothie King shop.

The property is right across from Brick Commons, home to ShopRite.

Smoothie King offers smoothies made from whole fruits and vegetables, aimed at those who are pursuing fitness goals, the company says. It also aims to encourage healthy lifestyles.

The planning board meeting is set for 7 p.m. at the Brick Township municipal building, 401 Chambers Bridge Road.
