Support Caregiver Volunteers At Jersey Shore ROCKS Dementia Event

The event will raise funds for the Connect Through Music program, which aids people with dementia and their families.

BRICK, NJ — Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey are holding a fundraising event on Friday evening to support its program Connect through Music, which helps those with Alzheimers or dementia.

The event, Jersey Shore ROCKS Dementia, is set for 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday at Town Square at the Jersey Shore, 1930 Route 88, Suite 14 in Brick. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased online.

There will be music from the 1950s, '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s, with performances by the No Reply Band and Full Stride, along with Jersey blues rocker Matt O'Ree.

There will be food by JBJ Soul Kitchen Restaurant, Toms River, craft beer by Carton Brewing Company, handmade taffy and fudge by All About Desserts, ice cream treats and gourmet pretzels by Rudy’s on Main. There will be a photo booth, games and billiards.
