Vehicle, Home Burglaries Prompt 'Lock Up' Warning From Brick Police
Police said the suspects stole a key fob and personal items from one home and broke into numerous vehicles.

BRICK, NJ — Brick Township police are warning residents to make sure their homes and vehicles are locked up after multiple vehicle burglaries on Sunday in the township.
Police said there were multiple vehicles broken into in the Shore Acres and Baywood sections of the township, at the east end of Drum Point Road, on Sunday night.
Early Monday morning, burglars broke into a home in Lake Riviera and stole several personal items, including a key fob, police said. They ran from the home and left the area after the homeowner woke up, police said.

The suspects are driving a light blue or silver BMW sedan, police said.
"Residents are reminded to lock their vehicles and all doors and windows to their residence," police said.

Report any suspicious activity to the Brick Township Police Department.
"Do not approach suspects, as they should be considered armed and dangerous," police said.
Sunday and Monday's incidents come as Brick police continue to investigate an attempted armed burglarythat happened early Friday in the Cherry Quay section. Authorities did not release any details but have asked residents in the area to check their security cameras for possible suspicious activity from the 4:30 a.m.-5:30 a.m. time.
