WATCH: Brick Road Rage Stabbing Leaves Man With Cuts
Brick Township police are seeking the public's help in identifying the two men and a woman who were involved.

Brick Township police are seeking the public’s help in identifying three people who were involved in a road rage incident last Wednesday evening on Route 88.
A fight at the end of the incident left a Toms River man with cuts on his head and elbow, Brick Sgt. Larry Petrola said Monday afternoon.
Petrola said police responded to the incident, which occurred on Route 88 near the intersection with Barb Lane. The victim, a 39-year-old white male from Toms River who was driving a black Jeep Wrangler, told police that he had been in a fight with suspects who were driving a dark Acura sedan that had tinted windows and a New York license plate, he said.

The man told police the cars were westbound on Route 88 in Point Pleasant, headed toward Brick, when the driver of the Acura began yelling at him and his family, while at the same time driving aggressively, Petrola said.
When the cars reached the intersection of 88 and Barb Lane, the driver of the Acura got out and approached the victim’s car, he told police. The victim told police he got out of his car and a fight ensued, first on the side of the road, then in the road itself. Two passengers in the Acura got out and joined in the fight, the victim said, according to Petrola.

In the video, one of the men can be seen restraining the victim while the other hits him.
Sometime during the fight the victim was stabbed with what was described as a small knife, Petrola said. The occupants of the Acura then ran back to their car and left the area on Jack Martin Boulevard toward Route 70. The victim then lost sight of the Acura, Petrola said.
The victim was treated at Ocean Medical Center and released, Petrola said.
Brick Detectives Timothy McCarthy and Mark Byrne were able to recover a short video clip that was taken by a passerby. The clip shows the end of the altercation leading up to the suspect’s running back to their vehicle. The Brick Township Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects (two black males and one black female) who are shown in the video wearing light-colored shirts.
If you believe you may have seen the suspect vehicle, or recognize anyone else involved, you are asked to contact Detective Timothy McCarthy in the Brick Township Police Detective Bureau at 732-262-1169. You can also contact the Brick Township Police directly at 732-262-1100.
