Town Hall Ceremony To Honor Veterans On Veterans Day In Brick

Veterans Day -- the day set aside in the early part of the 20th century to honor America’s veterans for their patriotism and sacrifice through their military service -- is Wednesday.

As a federally observed holiday, federal government offices and state goverment offices are closed. However, Brick Township schools are open.

In Brick, there will be an observance of Veterans Day at the municipal builing at 11 a.m., followed by a Veterans Day service by American Legion Post 348, and a Veterans Day brunch sponsored by the Brick PBA at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8867 at 363 Adamston Road.
