2 'Creepy Clown' Sightings In Somerset County
A high school student reported seeing a man dressed as a clown, similar to the one worn by the character in the movie "Scream": police

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — "Creepy clown" sightings have been reported across New Jersey and most recently in Somerset County.
A Bound Brook High School student reported seeing a male dressed in a black wig, with white makeup on his face, wearing a black cloak, similar to the one worn by the character in the movie Scream on Monday morning on her way to school.
"The individual DID NOT approach the student, DID NOT speak with the student, just stood in front of an apartment building in town," police reported.

The Bound Broook Police Department is investigating, if anyone has any information regarding this incident, call 732-356-0800 Ext. 0.
Another "creepy clown" sighting was reported in North Plainfield on Monday around 1:30 p.m. on the corner of Duer Street and Howard Street.

The clown skipped in the victim's direction and then left, North Plainfield Police reported.
Roselle Park Police also reported arrested a juvenile for posting about a clown and student victims on social media on Monday.
Police have been dealing with more "creepy clown" sightings in at least 10 New Jersey towns as the nationwide "killer clown" threats continue to grow.
Other New Jersey towns with clown sightings include Phillipsburg, Pohatcong, Deptford, East Hanover, Glassboro, Clearview, Kingsway, West Deptford, Vineland and Toms River.
