2 Ejected From Car In July 4 Crash On I-287 Ramp: State Police

The driver and passenger were ejected after the driver ran off the road and the car overturned and hit two light poles, state police said.

BEDMINSTER TWP., NJ — Two men were ejected from the car they were in after a crash July 4 in Bedminster Township, state police told Patch.

The crash happened on the ramp from I-287 South to I-78 West at 12:24 p.m. Monday, a New Jersey State Police spokesperson told Patch.

The driver of a Honda Accord ran off the road to the right, overturned, and hit two light poles, state police said.

One of the men inside had moderate injuries and the other had serious injuries, state police told Patch.

The two men inside were both from New York City. State police are still investigating the crash.
