2 Spirit Halloween Stores Opening In Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Spooky season is approaching and Halloween fans might be excited to know that not one but two Spirit Halloween locations are opening in Bridgewater.

The seasonal spooky store recently opened at the former Cost Plus World Market at 306-362 Chimney Rock Rd, next to Talbots. The World Market store had closed at the end of 2020.

Another Spirt Halloween location is expected to open in Bridgewater later this month. That store will be located in the Somerset Shopping Center and occupying the former Rite Aid store at 319 Route 202 in Bridgewater (off the Somerville Circle).

One other Spirt Halloween location opened in Somerset County at the former Office Depot at 940 Easton Avenue, 1, Franklin Township.

Because the Halloween store is a franchise with thousands of independently run locations across the country, there is no official company-wide "opening day." Each fall, the seasonal store brand secures short-term leases at vacant spaces, leasing from mid-July to early November.

In addition to classic costumes, the stores will offer new licensed merchandise from Inside Out 2, Beetle Juice, Decendents, Haunted Mansion, Corpse Bride, Barbie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bluey, and more.
