Big Competitions Coming Up For Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band
The Bridgewater-Raritan High School band is preparing for its last weekends of competition, and had to contend with recent rain.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Two weekends, and three competitions, remain in the season for the Bridgewater-Raritan High School Marching Band. This includes the New Jersey Marching Band Directors Association (NJMBDA) state competition and the Bands of America regional competition on Oct. 28 and 29, and their second-to-last NJMBDA competition at East Brunswick High School on Saturday.
There were no scores tallied at the previous competition Oct. 14 in Monroe Township, as rain forced all the bands to play inside. Band Director Nick Mossa said he still got valuable feedback from the judges, who complimented the students.
“The band was professional and flexible, navigating all the changes in logistics to make a great performance. We did also get some valuable comments from the judges, who expressed a lot of great praise for what we are doing with the show this year," Mossa reported.
