22 West Tap & Grill To Honor Bridgewater Woman's Memory

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — 22 West Tap & Grill is hosting a fundraiser on Saturday in honor of a beloved young Bridgewater woman who died in a head-on crash in Bernardsville.

On Jan. 23, Ashley L. Cardona, 26, of Bridgewater, who graduated from Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School, was driving a 2009 Honda Civic west on Route 202 South at 5:02 p.m. when she crossed over the double yellow lines and struck a 2017 Cadillac Escalade head on coming in the opposite direction. Cardona was airlifted to Morristown Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead. (See Related: Bridgewater Woman Killed In Bernardsville Head-On Crash)

Cardona's family has set up a scholarship in her honor, which will benefit a Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School student, and 22 West Tap And Grill will donate $1 for every Tito's drink that's sold from 10 p.m. to closing. Additionally, Fireball shots will be given out at midnight to celebrate her birthday on May 13.

DJ CTOM will also be playing all of Cardona's favorite music throughout the night.
