3 Car Burglaries Reported At Somerset County Parks In Bridgewater

Bridgewater Police also reported a number of shoplifting and DWI arrests made throughout August and September.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Three car burglaries were reported at Somerset County Parks in Bridgewater.

On Aug. 11 at around 6:38 p.m., a victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked at Duke Island Park. The victim reported the window of their vehicle had been broken and a purse was removed from the passenger’s side front floor.

That same day at around 6:55 p.m., another victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked at Duke Island Park. The victim reported that two windows had been broken on their vehicle and a wallet and purse had been removed from the interior of the vehicle.

On Sept. 3 at around 11:45 a.m., a victim reported their vehicle had been burglarized while parked at Washington Valley Park on Newmans Lane. The victim reported that a credit card had been stolen from a wallet located inside the vehicle. The victim was unsure if the vehicle was locked at the time of the incident.

On Aug. 17 at around 12:33 a.m.: Jennifer Gallo, 35, of Warren, was arrested for being in possession of drug paraphernalia after a motor vehicle stop on Finderne Avenue. She was issued a complaint summons and released with a pending court appearance.

On Aug. 18 at around 3 p.m.: Pawel Kielczewski, 50, of Bridgewater, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Kielczewski stole store merchandise valued at $329.83. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

On Aug. 19 at around 2:23 p.m.: Melissa Santone, 46, of North Brunswick, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Santone stole store merchandise valued at $150. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On Aug. 21 at around 5:40 p.m.: Krystyna Cebula, 75, of Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Cebula stole store merchandise valued at $200.48. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On Aug. 28 at around 5:30 p.m.: Megan McKinley, 41, of Somerville, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. McKinley stole store merchandise valued at $117.75. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 4 at around 12:55 a.m.: A 21-year-old man from Haskell, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 east. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, reckless driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 9 at around 3:50 p.m.: Emerson Scoggins, 20, of Lambertville, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Scoggins stole store merchandise valued at $770.10. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 9 at around 11:42 p.m.: A 23-year-old woman from Plainfield, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. She was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving, and speeding. She was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 10 at around 10:43 a.m.: Nickolas Vett, 44, of Kenilworth, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Vett stole store merchandise valued at $388.86. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 11 at around 12:50 p.m.: Shripad Naik, 41, of Monmouth Junction, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Naik stole store merchandise valued at
$119.99. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 11 at around 5:41 p.m.: Edward Marquez, 32, of Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Marquez stole store merchandise valued at $479.99. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 11 at around 1:02 p.m.: A 42-year-old man from Raritan, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 West. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless
driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 15 at around 12:06 a.m.: A 47-year-old man from Manville, was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop on Route 22 East. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless
driving, and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 16 at around 11:40 a.m.: Krystyna Cebula, 75, from Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Marshalls, located at 125 Promenade Boulevard. Cebula used scissors to remove tags from display items and stole store merchandise valued at $276.79. A complaint summons was
completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On Sept. 16 at around 2:28 p.m.: Elia Reyes-Mendoza, 45, of New Brunswick, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located 200 Promenade Boulevard. Reyes-Mendoza stole store merchandise
valued at $584.25. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with pending court
appearance.
