3 Cars Burglarized, 1 Stolen Over 1 Day In Bridgewater

Bridgewater Police also reported a DWI arrest and multiple shoplifting arrests in the recent blotter.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — One car was stolen and three others were burglarized in one day in Bridgewater, according to the latest police blotter.

On June 10: A resident from Dilts Lane reported their vehicle had been burglarized in the early morning hours. The victim reported that someone entered their locked vehicle and stole several gift cards from the vehicle’s center console. There were no signs of forced entry to the vehicle.

On June 10: A resident from Shields Lane reported their vehicle had been stolen in the overnight hours. The vehicle had been parked in the victim’s driveway and the key fobs were still in the victim’s possession.

On June 10: A resident from Riddle Court reported their vehicle had been burglarized in the overnight hours. The vehicle had been parked in the lot directly in front of the residence. The victim reported that someone entered their unlocked vehicle and stole a purse from the vehicle.

On June 10: A resident from Glen Eyre Drive reported their vehicle had been burglarized in the early morning hours. The victim reported that someone entered their unlocked vehicle and went through the vehicle’s glove compartment. The victim did not report anything missing at the time of the incident.

On May 23 at around 9 a.m.: A landscape company reported a Redmax Commercial Trimmer had
been stolen from a job site on Chimney Rock Road. The job foreman reported that the trimmer was left leaning against a lamp post and when he returned to use it, the trimmer was gone.

On May 24 at around 5:21 p.m.: Kaylynn Bradley, 23, from New Brunswick, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Bradley stole store merchandise valued at $599.90. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On May 24 at around 7:42 p.m.: Jessica Onate Galarza, 25, from Plainfield, was stopped for shoplifting at Macy’s, located in the Bridgewater Commons Mall. Onate Galarza stole store merchandise valued at $237.16. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On May 26 at 3:06 a.m.: A 22-year-old man from Jersey City was arrested for DWI after a motor vehicle stop just off of North Bridge Street. Yalamanchi was issued the following summonses: DWI, maintenance of lamps and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On June 2 at around 12:06 p.m.: Timothy Johnson, 35, from Bronx, NY was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Johnson stole store merchandise valued at $292.50. A complaint summons was completed and he was released with a pending court appearance.

On June 8 at around 8:23 p.m.: Yuri Teixeira-Cabral, 32, from Hillsborough, was stopped for shoplifting at Nordstrom Rack, located at 362 Chimney Rock Road. Teixeira-Cabral stole store merchandise valued at $264.82. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On June 11 at around 5 p.m.: Clara Guio, 68, from Bound Brook, was stopped for shoplifting at Marshals, located at 125 Promenade Boulevard. Guio stole store merchandise valued at $332.77. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.

On June 11 at around 10:04 p.m.: Phridon Tchrelashvili, 59, of Kew Gardens, NY was arrested for DWI after being involved in a motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Route 28 near Adamsville
Road. He was issued the following summonses: DWI, careless driving, reckless driving and failure to maintain lane. He was released with a pending court appearance.

On June 14 at around 1 p.m.: Jalynn Hayes, 22, from Plainfield, was stopped for shoplifting at Target, located at 200 Promenade Boulevard. Hayes stole store merchandise valued at $565.30. A complaint summons was completed and she was released with a pending court appearance.
