But we feel a little bad for recommending spending so much money all the time. So this week, we want to take a step back and go to the extreme by offering five options for used vehicles that are on the market for less than $5,000—because we know sometimes it really is "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems."

1. 2001 Kia Sephia — Used — $1,997

From Cars.com: Yes, it has 67,986 miles on it already, but you can't really beat that price for a vehicle. Plus, it's got tinted glass, two-speed intermittent windshield wipers and reclining front bucket seats—perhaps not the most upgraded features, but, hey, as long as it gets you from point A to point B, right?
