5 Different Kinds of Fireworks

It's the beginning of July, and that means we're getting ready for July 4th, which also means—fireworks! So many different kinds of fireworks are shot on the Fourth of July in celebration of America's independence. To prepare, we present five of the many kinds of consumer fireworks that could be used at Independence Day celebrations this year [perhaps the one with the county at ?].

  • Firecrackers—These are the earliest form of fireworks, and they are explosions that happen very close to the ground.
  • Smoke Ball—This firework emits smoke for a few seconds, with colors that include white, green, blue, yellow, orange, fuscia, red and pink.
  • Fountains—This is usually in the shape of a cone or log, and it emits thousands of sparks in various colors.
  • Air Bombs—This firework shoots into the air in red and green, and, when it explodes, it emits a very loud bang.
  • Jumping Jacks—The firework has a small stick much like a firecracker, but it sends out jumping balls of light while spinning quickly.
