5 Facts About the Green Knoll Golf Course

The Somerset County Parks Commission is officially reopening its golf courses on Friday morning, which also includes the , on Garretson Road in Bridgewater. So in preparation of the opening, we present five things to know about the Green Knoll Golf Course in case you have a hankering for a little golf.

  • Large Course—The Green Knoll Golf Course is an 18-hole, 6,443-yard course adjacent to the on Garretson Road. It also has a 9-hole par three Pitch and Putt course.
  • Other Facilities—The golf course has its own golf shop and snack bar.
  • Tournaments—The Green Knoll Golf Course will host the 34th Annual Senior Golf Tournament for men and women, as well as the 53rd Annual Dr. Michael S. Kline Memorial Somerset County Golf Tournament. Both will be in September.
  • Interesting Terrain—The golf course is designed to accommodate both experienced golfers and novices, and, according to the county website, it is known for tight fairways and rolling contours.
  • Staggered Hours—The driving range is open on the weekends and holidays, and Pitch and Putt hours are available every day of the week and holidays. Specific hours can be found on the website.
