BRIDGEWATER, NJ — For the ninth year in a row, the Bridgewater-Raritan Regional School District has been recognized as one of the "Best Communities for Music Education" by The National Association of Music Merchants(NAMM) Foundation for 2026.

"Now in its 27th year, the award recognizes schools and districts nationwide for their leadership in expanding equitable access to music education," according to NAMM.

The NAMM Foundation is the charitable arm of the National Association of Music Merchants, the global trade association for the music products industry.

To qualify for this distinction, Bridgewater completed an in-depth survey covering program funding, student participation, music instruction time, facilities, and community involvement. Responses were verified by school officials and reviewed by the arts education research firm WolfBrown.
