Another Pedestrian Killed By 2 Cars On Route 22 Near Diner
Breaking: The Bridgewater man makes three pedestrians struck and killed by cars in the same spot of Route 22 in the township.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — A Bridgewater man walking along Route 22 West late Sunday night was struck and killed by two cars at the same location where two others were hit and killed in August.
Marcus Cook, 25, was walking in the left lane on Route 22 West, near North Adamsville Road, in the township at around 11:02 p.m. on Dec. 18 when he was hit by a 2008 Nissan.
The car was driven by Jose Luis Mondragon Zamudio, 29, of Somerville, police reported

After being struck, Marcus was pushed into the center lane where he was struck by a 2016 Lexus driven by Brittany Tapia, 19, of Martinsville, Bridgewater Police Lt. Michael Maxwell said.
This incident is still under investigation.

The crash is being investigated by the Bridgewater Township Police Department Traffic Safety Bureau and the Somerset County Accident Reconstruction Team.
Any witnesses are asked to contact Bridgewater Township Traffic Safety Officer John Kennedy at 908-722-4111 ext 4162.
Two other pedestrians were also struck and killed on the same portion of Route 22 early in the morning on Aug. 25. Robert Gibbons, 29, and Magdalene Allen, 23, both of East Brunswick, were walking on Route 22 when they were struck by a 2004 Toyota Sienna driven by Xu Chengfei, 41, of Flushing New York, police said.
