Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar Closes Route 22 Location Permanently

Another restaurant has shuttered its doors for good in Somerset County.

NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ — Arooga's Grille House & Sports Bar in North Plainfield has closed for good.

A sign posted outside the restaurant at 1250 Route 22 East stated "This location is closed for business. Thank you for your patronage."

A request for comment from Arooga's for more information was not returned.

The 7,300-square-foot sports bar and restaurant initially opened in May 2017.

A nearby location in East Brunswick remains open.
