Attempted Home Burglary In Bridgewater, Man Wanted: Police

Bridgewater Police are sharing a photo of a person who was seen on surveillance camera trying to open a door to a township home.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Authorities are searching for a man wanted in connection with an attempted burglary in Bridgewater.

Just before 8 a.m. on Monday, a man was caught on a surveillance camera at a home on Bluestone Lane off Route 202/206 trying to open a basement door, said Bridgewater Police Lt. Kevin Lamey.

The man reportedly put on gloves before he pulled on a basement door and then walked back down the driveway out of the camera's view, said Lamey.

The man was unable to get into the home, said Lamey.
