Birnbaum Jewish Community Center Offers Virtual Speaker Series

The new Live In Your Living Room virtual speaker series is being offered to the community through the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center (JCC) in Bridgewater, it was announced by Laura Friedman, JCC Executive Director. More than 50 speakers will present on a wide variety of topics beginning Fall 2020 through June 2021, virtually via Zoom. Feature speakers scheduled over the next few months include: Jodi Picoult on September 23, Cameron Douglas (two opportunities on September 24 and November 11), Deepak Chopra on September 30, Steve Madden on October 15, Judy Gold on October 22, Nancy Grace on October 27, Joan Lunden on November 8 and Dale Berra on November 10.

According to Ms. Friedman, “We are so excited to bring to the community this series featuring nationally and internationally acclaimed speakers. In this time of COVID and so many people staying at home more than ever before, we know that having virtual access to this incredible lineup of speakers in one’s own home is welcomed by our JCC members and the community at large.”

The Live In Your Living Room series is supported by the Grotta Fund for Senior Care of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ; the Jewish Book Council; the Shimon and Sara Birnbaum Jewish Community Center; the Jewish Federation of Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren Counties; and Jewish LIFE (Learning Is For Everyone).
