Man Accused Of Repeated Sex Assault Of Young Girl In Somerset County

BOUND BROOK, NJ — A Bound Brook man is accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl over the course of nine months, according to Acting Somerset County Prosecutor Annmarie Taggart.

The 14-year-old girl told authorities on March 17 that she was sexually assaulted by Carlos B. Deleon-Sis, 42, of New Hampshire Lane, Bound Brook, numerous times between June 2021 and February 2022 in Bound Brook, according to Taggart.

An investigation was conducted by detectives from the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Sex Crimes/Child Abuse Unit and detectives from the Bound Brook Police Department.

On April 6, 2022, Deleon-Sis was arrested without incident and is charged with second-degree sexual assault, third-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, and fourth-degree criminal sexual contact.

Deleon-Sis was taken to the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.
