Bridgewater Accountant Named 2017 Outstanding Citizen
Bridgewater accountant Gail Rosen, CPA has been selected as the 67th Somerset County Outstanding Citizen of the Year.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater accountant Gail Rosen, CPA has been selected as the 67th Somerset County Outstanding Citizen of the Year by the Somerset County Business Partnership.
The Outstanding Citizen is the county’s most prestigious individual reward recognizing someone for their community and business activities that have contributed to make Somerset County a special place, according to the SCBP.
Rosen has a boutique accounting firm in the Martinsville section of Bridgewater, which she opened in 1983. She serves a diverse group of more than 800 businesses and individuals.

She served as a member of the Board of the Somerset County Chamber of Commerce and Somerset County Business Partnership for 20 years. She is a founding board member of Crime Stoppers of Somerset County, Inc. and currently serves as Vice-president of the Board.
She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Small Business Development Center at Raritan Valley Community College and functions as a consultant to the program, providing free professional advice to business people. She is also an active member of the NJ Society of CPA’s.

Rosen will be honored at a dinner reception on Thursday, May 4, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Bridgewater Marriott, 700 Commons Way in Bridgewater.
“Gail is a role model for a successful women business person. She hung out her shingle at the age of 25 and is now recognized as a leader in the accounting profession,” commented Cynthia Norfleet, partner at Van Cleef Engineering and member of the selection committee.
