Bridgewater Diner Reopens After Fire Caused 4 Month Closure
The fire had broken out in May in the diner's kitchen causing extensive water damage.
BRIDGEWATER, NJ — The Bridgewater Diner has reopened after a fire caused an almost four-month-long closure.
The diner, located at 1244 Route 22 in Bridgewater (in the highway's center median), reopened on Friday, Sept. 16, said Manager Samantha "Sam" Sarantopoulos.
"We are happy to be back," said Sarantopoulos.

The exterior and interior both received a facelift. The exterior sports new colors of grey, black and brown. The entryway, interior, bar area, and bathrooms were all updated, said Sarantopoulos.

Sarantopoulos said they had planned to reopen after one month but hit delays. She added they were able to retain the same staff.
